Data Privacy & Data Handling

Effective: May 2026
Who this is from: Tamarac Supply, Inc. d/b/a Mobotics (Mobotics USA)
Site: www.moboticsusa.com

1. Purpose

We take privacy, confidentiality, and security seriously. This page explains—in plain language—how we generally handle data: what we may collect, how we store and use it, who can see it, and how robot systems and support fit in.

It is meant for customers, partners, and vendors who work with us on robot demos, deployments, integrations, and ongoing support.

2. Scope

This overview applies to:

  • How you interact with Mobotics
  • Website inquiries and lead forms
  • Robot deployments and demonstrations
  • Day-to-day robot telemetry and diagnostics
  • Support and maintenance
  • Cloud-connected robot services, where used
  • Our internal tools we use to run the business

3. Information we may collect

What we collect depends on the project and services. It may include:

Business contact details

  • Name, company, email, phone
  • Facility or site location
  • Support messages and related correspondence

Robot operational data (when relevant)

  • Status and uptime
  • Error logs and diagnostics
  • Battery status
  • Cleaning or task completion stats
  • Navigation and mapping data
  • Performance telemetry
  • Device IDs and firmware versions

Website and technical data

  • IP address and browser type
  • Basic usage analytics
  • Cookies and session data
  • Referral and on-site interaction data

We do not set out to collect sensitive personal information unless a specific, customer-approved integration or support step truly requires it.

4. How we use information

We use what we collect only for real business and operational needs, such as:

  • Delivering robotic automation services
  • Keeping robots working, including diagnostics
  • Improving reliability and performance
  • Customer support and maintenance
  • Scheduling demos and rollouts
  • Answering your questions
  • Security monitoring and fraud prevention
  • Internal reporting we need to run the company

5. Sharing data and “selling” data

We do not sell your data.

We do not monetize your operational robot data for ads or by reselling it for marketing lists.

We may share information only when it is reasonably necessary—for example:

  • To run, fix, or support the robots
  • With subcontractors or technology vendors you would expect (under sensible security expectations)
  • To follow the law or respond to valid legal process
  • For security or fraud prevention

When we use outside vendors, we aim to work with reputable partners who take security seriously.

6. Pudu Cloud and other manufacturer platforms

Some systems we deploy connect to the manufacturer’s cloud—for example, Pudu Robotics and related platforms. During normal operation, a limited amount of telemetry and system data may go to or live in those environments so the fleet can be managed, maps and navigation can work, software can update, errors can be seen, and support can help.

That data is there to support how the robot works, stays updated, and gets serviced—not for us to resell for ads or to build unrelated marketing profiles.

If your IT team has strict network rules, we can talk through options such as segmentation, VLANs, limiting outbound access, or other setups the platform supports.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards—things like access controls, passwords, limiting who internally can see data, encryption where it is supported, care with vendors, and keeping software and firmware current.

No method of storage or transmission is 100% risk-free; we still work to reduce risk in sensible ways.

8. How long we keep data

We keep information only as long as we reasonably need it—for example:

  • Ongoing support and service history
  • Managing the customer relationship
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Security and audit needs

When we no longer need it, we may delete it, anonymize it, or archive it as appropriate.

9. What we expect from customers

Customers remain responsible for their own compliance and IT choices, including:

  • Internal policies and approvals
  • Network access and architecture decisions
  • Whether a given deployment fits their environment

We are happy to collaborate with your IT and security teams during planning.

10. Changes to this page

We may update this policy from time to time as operations, law, or technology change. The current version will be published here (or shared on request through channels we control).
