PUDU BG1 Series Launch: AI-Native Large Scrubber-Dryer Arrives in July 2026

3/25/2026 ·7 min ·Mobotics

The PUDU BG1 Series is officially joining the commercial cleaning lineup, with U.S. availability expected in July 2026.

For operators managing large, high-traffic facilities, BG1 is designed to close a key gap: combining wide-area productivity with adaptive, AI-driven cleaning behavior in one platform.

What makes BG1 different

The BG1 series introduces an AI-native architecture for large scrubber-dryer operations, built around one-pass productivity and lower manual intervention:

  • One-pass sweep and scrub with 550 mm scrubbing and 708 mm sweeping width
  • Adaptive AI spot cleaning with up to 6000 m2/h in targeted mode
  • Extendable edge cleaning for shelf lines, wall edges, and perimeter-heavy routes
  • Dual cleaning-agent real-time mixing with milliliter-level dosing control
  • Up to 7.5 hours runtime (standard mode 5.5h+) with optional unattended station support

Key specs at a glance

  • Total machine weight: approx. 344 kg (758 lbs)
  • Min path clearance: 85 cm (33.5 in)
  • Cleaning efficiency (covered mode): up to 2000 m2/h
  • Water tanks: 75 L clean / 60 L waste
  • Dust box: 5 L
  • Battery: 90 Ah on 48V architecture

Where BG1 fits best

From launch planning sessions with customers, BG1 is a strong fit for:

  1. Retail and supermarket environments with high turnover and strict floor presentation standards
  2. Industrial and manufacturing facilities needing deep scrubbing and configurable chemical workflows
  3. Warehouse and logistics operations requiring long runtime and timed cleaning windows
  4. Parking garages and property services where larger operating areas and robust perception are critical

July 2026 rollout planning

Because availability is planned for July, this is the right window to align:

  • pilot locations and success criteria
  • charging/docking placement
  • shift-based task scheduling
  • operator onboarding and maintenance workflows

If you want a smaller-footprint counterpart for medium areas, compare BG1 with the PUDU CC1 Pro.
If you are evaluating broad cleaning coverage, review the full commercial cleaning robots lineup.
